Bob J. Nash attended Booker T. Washington High School in Texarkana, Arkansas. He attended AM&N College in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he achieved his B.A. in Sociology. After college, he moved to Washington, DC, with a scholarship to Howard University. There, he received his master\u2019s in
urban planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bob grew up in the Southwest region where alligator, snake, gar, and lots of bayou fish were the norm. Bob learned to cook in the small cafes and grills of Texarkana, Arkansas, saying, \u201cMy big chance came when the fry cook called in sick; the owner knew he was drunk again. From that night on, I was the fry
cook.\u201d Bob\u2019s specialties are southern cooked foods, including grilled meats, vegetables, southern fried catfish and, of course, Tex-Mex cornbread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bob worked 50 years in the nonprofit world, state government, federal government, and banking. He was vice president of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation; Economic Advisor to Governor Bill Clinton; then joined the Clinton White House, where he was appointed by President Clinton to serve as Undersecretary of USDA and as White House Director of Presidential Personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He worked seven years as Vice Chair of Shore Bank Chicago before joining the Hillary Clinton Campaign in 2008. He later worked as a consultant for the Witt Emergency Services. Today, Bob is a self-employed consultant with Bob J. Nash & Associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
